Powder Canyon Hike
Troop 93 will be having a Webelos invitational day hike on Sunday January 22nd from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We will meet at the Powder Canyon Trailhead at noon and start off with a light lunch. After lunch we will hike through Powder Canyon and Schabarum Regional Park – this is a very scenic hike that all will enjoy. The hike will be approximately 4 miles in length and moderately strenuous (there are a few hills to clime). Both boys and parents are welcome. This is a great opportunity for Webelos to learn more about Troop 93 through a troop outing.
Lunch will be provided. Please bring one quart of water with you for the hike.
Directions:
Head north on Harbor Boulevard and make a left on Fullerton Road. Go approximately a quarter mile and then turn right onto the dirt road that leads into Powder Canyon – the parking lot where we will be meeting is approximately a quarter mile up the dirt road by the equestrian area (see attached maps).
