Cub Scout Identification
Website www.pack1218.org, will never have Scouts full names posted under this domain, unless specifically authorized by their parent or legal guardian on a per event basis. Photos of scouts may be published from Public Events, only if an authorization (signed/dated by a parent or guardian of a registered scout/member of Pack-1218) is on file with Pack-1218 for the specific public/BSA event.
Any parent or legal guardian prohibiting posting of “scout” photos/data, is requested to immediately notify the Webmaster of Pack-1218, requesting the review/removal of the relevant photo(s)data; the Webmaster/Committee will be make every effort to review/remove the relevant photo(s)/data within 24-72 hours if approved by Committee/Webmaster. Personal Data (excluding photographs) pertaining to any Pack-1218 scout that fully identifies that scout, will be authorized by the parent or legal guardian, prior to posting on www.pack1218.org. Pack-1218 Webmaster/Committee policy, restricts Committee/Webmaster to post a scouts personal information on this website, without prior written authorization from the legal parent/guardian of the scout(s) personal data in question/concern.
Changes in Our Privacy Policy
Pack-1218 Committee (after documented Committee approval and/or majority vote of Committee Members in attendance at a monthly scheduled Pack Committee Meeting) reserves the right to change the “Privacy Policy” of Pack-1218 website (www.pack1218.org) without providing you with advance notice of our intent to make the changes; however, if Committee does change the privacy policy, we will post changes to the Pack-1218 privacy statement at www.pack1218.org, and any other publications the Committee deems necessary/appropriate.

Purpose of the Website
The purpose of Website/Domain www.pack1218.org is to provide an internet communication tool for Pack-1218 Committee, Den Leaders, Parents/Guardians, Scouts and visitors to share data, including but not limited to, the planning/reporting of Scouting/Community Events, and to act as a conduit for disseminating data to Pack-1218. The Webmaster will make every effort to keep www.pack1218.org updated, keeping in mind at all times, that the content and design of the Website should reflect the purposes and values of BSA/Scouting and the unique character of Pack-1218.
